What Ever Happened To Limbo?

Years ago I would talk to a man that was once a priest about various topics regarding spirituality and the soul. One day he told me that there was no longer Limbo a place where the Catholic religion designated for babies that died without being baptized. I was puzzled. Where do the babies go now that Limbo is gone? Where are all the babies unbaptised souls now? It would seem that the ears of the Catholic Church are better than mine since God delivered unto it this amazing proclamation.
